BURCU HANCI
SOPRANO

Burcu Hancı, who graduated with honors from the Opera Department of Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory’s Performing Arts program, has performed in numerous prestigious concerts and performances since her graduation. In 2023, she was invited to perform as a soloist at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
She was also invited as a soloist to South Korea to perform Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem with the Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of conductor James Judd. Additionally, she performed Alban Berg’s “Sieben frühe Lieder” with the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gürer Aykal.
At the 45th International Istanbul Music Festival, she performed as a soloist in the closing concert at Aya İrini, alongside artists from Cellistanbul and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently, she continues her work in the field of culture and arts as an Art Director at DenizBank, DenizKültür.
