Gonca BİLGET was born in 1975. In 1986, she was accepted into the Istanbul University State Conservatory’s String Instruments Department, violin section, where she began studying with Ebru Yunkuş. During her student years, she attended masterclasses by Ayla Erduran and I. Galati and participated in masterclasses and lessons with Cihat Aşkın.

In 1996, after graduating from the Istanbul University State Conservatory’s undergraduate program, she joined the Cemal Reşit Rey Symphony Orchestra. From 2000 to 2007, she worked as a lecturer at Kocaeli University Faculty of Fine Arts, Music Department. In 2007, she began teaching violin in the String Instruments Department at Kocaeli University State Conservatory. She is currently working as a lecturer at Kocaeli University State Conservatory.
